Back when HTML was still really new (there was no version "anything" of it at that point, I decided to write a simple page as a quick way of learning the basics.  I decided to mix it with something fun; I'm a big fan of the 1980 Flash Gordon movie, and there were a lot of lines I really enjoyed from that movie, so I decided to record clips from my VCR tape of it and put together a Flash Gordon Sounds Page to be that first page I ever wrote. :-)  I've left it online ever since, and it now lives here.  Strangely enough, my web logs still show visitors to that page after all this time, so I guess I'm not the only person who's still a fan! :-)   If you want to check it out, the page can be found here.
